Matthew Thorburn
Matthew Thorburn is the author of seven collections of poetry, including The Grace of Distance (LSU Press, 2019), a finalist for the Paterson Poetry Prize; Dear Almost (LSU Press, 2016), which received the Lascaux Prize; and the chapbook A Green River in Spring (Autumn House Press, 2015). His poems have also appeared in many journals and anthologies, including the American Poetry Review, The Southern Review, and The Best American Poetry 2020, and he has received fellowships from the Library of Congress, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the Bronx and New Jersey arts councils. He lives in New Jersey and works in corporate communications.
