Eleni Stecopoulos is the author of three books: Dreaming in the Fault Zone: A Poetics of Healing (Nightboat Books, 2024), a finalist for the 2025 Poetry Foundation’s Pegasus Award for Poetry Criticism; Visceral Poetics (ON Contemporary Practice, 2016); and Armies of Compassion (Palm Press, 2010). An essayist, poet, and critic, Stecopoulos has taught at Bard College and the University of San Francisco and received a Creative Work Fund award for her curatorial collaboration with The Poetry Center at San Francisco State University. Based in Northern California, she works with nonfiction writers and poets as an independent book editor and mentor.
