Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

Thank you and Bob Hicok for "A shopkeeper's story" in the "Summer Break" issue. This poem was able to do what seemed otherwise unfathomable: to interest my father, a residential house painter for more than thirty years, in the art and craft of poetry writing. And I got to share this experience with him. It seems only right that Hicok concludes his poem with: "Care exists. I thrive."
