Forms & Features: “Writing off the Subject”

This generative poetry workshop led by Maggie Queeney explores the inspirations and subjects of a poem in conversation with Richard Hugo’s lectures and essays in The Triggering Town. 

The group will read and discuss a variety of texts and conclude with a guided poetry-writing exercise. 

• This workshop is for adult participants, aged 18 and older, of all backgrounds and experiences with reading and writing poetry. 
• We offer several sessions.
