Poetry Off the Shelf: Book Release Party: Citizen Illegal

Celebrate the launch of José Olivarez’s debut poetry collection, Citizen Illegal, at the National Museum of Mexican Art. Olivarez is the son of Mexican immigrants, the coauthor of the book of poems Home Court, and the cohost of the poetry podcast, The Poetry Gods. He has received fellowships from CantoMundo, Poets House, the Bronx Council on the Arts, the Poetry Foundation, and the Conversation Literary Festival.
